Neck harbor can be accessed around the clock. The red-and-white lighthouse at Hals Barre leads into an 80-meter-wide gutter towards the Limfjord. The lighthouses of the harbor's pier heads can be hard to see, as the lights from Hals harbor and town can seem dazzling. The seats on the inside of the E-straight mole are reserved for the pilot boats. The outermost part of the pile bridge on the N side of the E-straight pool is reserved for the ferry that stays here. This part of the bridge is marked with a yellow stripe. Boats should preferably be added to the W-section of the harbor. Here it is possible to lie at the floating bridge and hedge bridge in the outer part. At the other berths, you will find a long ship. The W-like outer pool is protected by a slab. In calm weather you can lie at the bulwark outside on the outer pier.

Attractions

The Hals Museum is a cultural and local history museum with a permanent exhibition on life by sea and fjord, on land and in town, as well as changing exhibitions. The museum is located at Neck Skanse.

Neck Skanse is definitely worth a visit. The barrier has been built to protect the entrance of the Limfjord. Skansen is Denmark's best-preserved single shot from the Renaissance period. The violence stands roughly as in 1654. Here is a gunpowder magazine from the 1600s and a clothing house from 1812. The German troops used the headquarters during the Second World War.

Hals Golf Club is located where the Limfjord opens into the Kattegat. From many of the course's holes, you have a unique view of the fjord and the sea. The course is a combined seaside and forest course with holes directly out to the fjord, while others are surrounded by forest. A fun and challenging course. Green fees for guest players are DKK 300 on weekdays and 350 on weekends.
