Approaches
Hirtshals Marina can be operated around the clock, but wind and current conditions must be taken into account. When arriving and departing, the port guard must be contacted on VHF channel 16 or by telephone 98 94 14 22. It is advisable not to enter the port in coal - especially when the wind comes from the N or NW direction. There is some power in at the entrance to the harbor, and it is recommended to call for motor. Upon arrival, the Hirtshals lighthouse and the harbor's two lighthouses lead in course 166 °. The guides are provided with red-painted triangle top designations that appear at night as luminous triangles. Hirtshals Marina is located immediately in control after passing the harbor's pier heads. There is a speed limit of 3 knots in the harbor basin. Consideration must be given to ferry traffic.

Hirtshals Marina is located in Hirtshals harbor, which also contains ferry traffic, industry and fishing. The marina is located right next to the city center, so there is plenty of opportunity for provisioning.

Toilets and bath toilets are purchased at the Navy kiosk right by the bridge or by the marina's master. The pole price is 5 kroner. PCS.

Attractions

The North Sea Museum is an oceanarium that offers experiences for the whole family. You can experience 5 large and more than 40 smaller aquariums, 70 fish species and lots of interactive experience at the museum. Several places in the outdoor areas can be brought along with food. It costs 145 kroner for adults and 80 kroner for children in the entrance.

The Hirtshals lighthouse was lit for the first time on January 1, 1863. It was built in King Frederick VII's reign, and the king's monogram adorns the tower just above the front door. In 1973, the lighthouse was automated and the lighthouse is still operational. It is possible to get up into the lighthouse where there is a view so beautiful. It is open daily from 10am to 5pm. It costs 20 kroner for adults and 10 kroner for children in the entrance.

The Hirtshals Museum offers fishermen's history. The museum is housed in an old fisherman's home built of boulders in 1880. The museum exhibits how a fishing family lived at that time, as well as exhibiting the two oldest types of fishing boats used by local fishermen. The museum also offers an exhibition around bark that is a kind of snaps.
