Björlanda Kile is one of Northern Europe's largest marinas with over 2,400 boat berths. The port is privately owned and the port area is locked.

In the area of the harbor there are 220 small cabins for rent. Water and electricity are found at the bridges. There is an equipment shop, sailmaker and shipyard in connection with the harbor.
