Skarø harbor can be accessed around the clock. At the end of the right mole arm, stands the red guy who heads up to the harbor. Fishing tackle is found in the area. The harbor can be troubled when the wind comes from the north. There is a speed limit of 3 knots in the harbor basin. Show consideration for ferry traffic.

Skarø harbor is located on the island of Skarø in the south Funen Archipelago at the western entrance to Svendborgsund. Skarø is a flat island protected from flooding by dikes in several places along the coast.

Skarø has both a grocery store , handicraft shop and Cafe. The grocer's selection is mainly organic with specialties from Skarø and other small islands.

At the harbor there are barbecue areas and a large campfire that can be used by guest sailors.

Attractions

There is a rich bird life on the island and on Skarø reef.

There is a ferry to Svendborg. The trip takes about 40 minutes.

2016: Both under 9 meters in length cost 150 kroner a day. Both between 9-12 meters in length cost 170 kroner a day. Both between 12-15 meters in length cost 200 kroner a day. Both between 15-20 meters in length cost 250 kroner a day. Both over 20 meters in length cost 400 kroner a day.
