Snaptun Lystbådehavn
Snaptun Marina is located at the setting for Horsens Fjord. The harbor is located in scenic surroundings, and is divided into a marina and fishing harbor.
It is possible to stock up on Snaptun Havnebistro's mini market, which has the most basic groceries. If you want a larger selection, go to Glud (4 kilometers), where you will find a Daily 'Bruges. There are buses to Juelsminde and Horsens from the port.
The harbor has a playground and a crab track for the children. The harbor's clubhouse may be used by guest sailors. During the summer period, the harbor has erected a tent with barbecue areas.
Snaptun Sailing Club has its home port in Snaptun Marina.
Attractions
The area around the harbor invites for walks in nature. There is a marked coastal path to Juelsminde town from the harbor.
Glud museum is a cultural history open-air museum that has exciting historical buildings from East Jutland. The museum exhibits agriculture and rural life on the Juelsminde peninsula in the period 1650 to around 1950. The exhibitions consist of 14 original houses from the area provided with contents, showing the daily life on the fat East Jutland lands for 300 years.
There are daily ferry connections to Hjarnø and Endelave . The crossing to Hjarnø takes only 7 minutes.
Boats up to 10 meters in length cost 120 kroner per day. Boat length over 10 meters is added 10 kroner per meter Electricity costs 10 kroner per day.
