Approaches
Asaa port can be accessed around the clock. If it blows heavily from the northeast, east or south, the port cannot be called. The entrance to the harbor is marked with green and red sticks. Please note that the area northeast of the harbor must not be navigated due to World War II ammunition. There is a speed limit of 3 knots in the harbor basin.

Details

Asaa harbor is located on the east coast of Vensyssel - right off the Kattegat. The port is located as an island port on a 450 meter long dam. The dam and harbor were built in 1896. The harbor offers modern facilities.

At the harbor there is a market every Thursday in the high season.

Aså Boat Boat has a home port in Asaa port.

Attractions

The Asaa Fisheries Museum is located on the harbor. In one of the houses is a small cozy fishing museum with collections of fishing gear, engines and navigation equipment that has been used over time. The museum is open Tuesday to Sunday from 13-16.00. It costs 25 kroner for admission.

Dronninglund Castle is located about 8 kilometers from the harbor. The castle has been owned by the royal house, but is now privately owned. In the beautiful buildings there is now a course center.

Ports charge

2020: Both under 10 meters in length cost DKK 120 per day, DKK 600 per week. Both between 10 and 13 meters in length cost 140 kroner per day, 700 kroner per week. Both over 13 m in length cost 160 kroner per day, 800 kroner per week. Free port scheme: 60, - / day. A 1 x 5 DKK is needed for a shower.
