Aabenraa Lystbådehavn

Aabenraa Marina is located in the heart of Aabenraa Fjord. Aabenraa is an old market stall and one of Denmark's oldest maritime towns. There are plenty of shopping opportunities in Aabenraa, which boasts Denmark's longest pedestrian street. The city also offers many beautiful buildings.

At the port office you can buy tokens for washing machine and dryer. Around the clubhouse there are several barbecue areas with tables and benches that can be used freely. There is also a playground.

Aabenraa Sailing Club and Aabenraa Boat Club have their home port in Aabenraa Marina.

Attractions

The old part of Aabenraa town is located on a slope around Sct. Nicolai Kirke. The church is dedicated to the weekend of the seafarers. The old church was built in Munkesten around the year 1250. The church was subjected to a thorough restoration in the period 1949-1956, as the church was in poor condition at this time.

At Aabenraa Museum, artifacts from centuries of shipping are stored. Here you will find, among other things, ship paintings and bottle ships that have been found and handed over from the many ships that have made their way past the port of Aabenraa. There are many exciting stories to be found at the museum, which is definitely worth a visit if you have an interest in the maritime.
