The port of Aggersund is open day and night, but only in bright and visible weather, and from the east only during normal opening hours for the bridges in Aalborg and the Aggersund bridge. The harbor and waters between Løgstør and Aalborg are not illuminated, but the illumination on the Aggersund Bridge guides the acquisition. Eastbound currents at west winds can set up to 4 knots and make sailing difficult. The dinghy is still under development. The latest project has been to close the harbor basin with a rock pier to create more calm water in the harbor. The dinghy harbor can be accessed by vessels with a draft up to 1.2 m at mean water level. Vessels with greater draft are referred to the quay on the north side of the fjord, or the neighboring ports in respectively. Løgstør and Haverslev Mooring at the north quay should be done with great care as the passage of commercial vessels can put huge swings at the quay, so the pleasure craft should never be left unmanned.
