Åstol is located north of Marstrand in Bohuslän's beautiful archipelago. The harbor is one of the Swedish West Coast's best protected ports. Once the port fee is paid, there is access to toilet, bath, wi-fi, washing machine, dryer and water. In Åstol are shopping opportunities that are open year-round. During the summer season there is a seafood shop, restaurant, smokehouse and cafes.

There is a home museum that tells about life at sea and on land in the 1940s.
