Bisserup Harbor is located on the southwest side of Zealand - between Karrebæksminde harbor and Skælskør harbor . The harbor consists of two basins - one for pleasure boats and one small for fishermen.
It is about 500 meters up to Brugsen, where provision can be made.
Bisserup Sailing Club has a home port in Bisserup Harbor.
In connection with the war against England in 1807, armaments were built along the beach. It is still possible to see the remains of these hedges on the beach.
Holsteinborg is a cargo approximately 2 kilometers from the harbor. The estate was built between 1562 and 1767. Holsteinborg Estate with park, forests and meadows was partially protected in 1941. The author HC Andersen has lived on the estate for several periods. It is said that he has found inspiration for some of his adventures on the estate. Holsteinborg was also the first Danish home in which a Christmas tree was lit. It happened in the year 1808.
