Christiansminde Bro
100 meters long boat bridge east of Svendborg, which was built in 2010. There is a lovely bathing beach and nice playground. There are not many facilities here but electricity and water.
Hotel Christiansminde with Restaurant is right on the bridge.
Svendborg is an old port city, but you do not know much about the city. The name is first seen in an old document from 1229. It is the morning gift letter to Valdemar the young bride, the Portuguese princess Eleonora. For her entertainment she was entrusted with the southern part of Funen and its castles, including Swineburgh - later Svendborg.
