100 meters long boat bridge east of Svendborg, which was built in 2010. There is a lovely bathing beach and nice playground. There are not many facilities here but electricity and water.
Hotel Christiansminde with Restaurant is right on the bridge.
Svendborg is an old port city, but you do not know much about the city. The name is first seen in an old document from 1229. It is the morning gift letter to Valdemar the young bride, the Portuguese princess Eleonora. For her entertainment she was entrusted with the southern part of Funen and its castles, including Swineburgh - later Svendborg.
It is recommended to visit Maritime Center Denmark - where you can get to sail in an old wooden boat or maybe learn something new about sailing.
Naturama is located in Svendborg. Naturama is a museum that offers modern natural history. Naturama delivers modern natural history for children and adults. A visit to Naturama should be a total experience: first you " swim " between whales. Then you pat the bear. And finally, you stare deeply into the sea eagle.
Naturama brings the visitor closer to the animal's incredible history. With an aesthetic narrative, both the mind and the heart are appealed to, unfolding over light, sound, images, colors, rooms, films, animals and objects. Naturama is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
