Doverodde Havn is a small free harbor situated beautifully in the scenic and culturally interesting area down to the Limfjord. At the entrance to Doverodde, the 7-8,000-year-old stone-age slopes can be seen, and here is the country's largest group of burial mounds. The place has been the center of grain and cattle trade with England for a few centuries, which is why there has been an actual grocery store with jetty since 1848.

You can visit the Limfjord Center , which is housed in the old grocery store. Here are ongoing exhibitions and activities. The grocery store also has a high 42 meter high tower, which offers great views of the Limfjord and the country around it. In the tower exhibitions you can get inspiration and information about the nature of the Limfjord country.

The Limfjord Center nature guide organizes trips on the fjord, to the nearby Dover Plantation with the Ancient Highlands and Thy National Park.

You can also have dinner at the grocery store run by Vivi. It is open from April 1 to November 15.
