Dragør Gl. Havn
Dragør is a beautiful charming harbor town. A port stay in Dragør is at the same time a stay close to Copenhagen. Dragør has good public connections to and from Copenhagen. By bus it takes only 30 minutes, then you stand at Kongens Nytorv, close to Nyhavn and Strøget, or the Central Station and Tivoli Gardens .
Dragør has many well-preserved historic buildings, and the old part of town consists of idyllic cobbled streets with yellow-painted houses and red brick roofs. Most of the buildings are from the 18th and 19th centuries. The harbor has a well-preserved cultural environment and is used in the present day by recreational sailboats, smaller fishing boats and as a base harbor for pilot boats.
Pilots and Dragør are almost identical. Since 1684 there have been pilots attached to the town. Today, the chapter of independent Dragør Pilots is long gone, but you can still experience the old pilot tower in the old harbor. It is also possible to experience the pilot museum, which tells the story of the pilot and Dragør.
Ice cream - if you walk 2 minutes to the left along the town, you will find "Nam Nam" who makes homemade ice cream waffles with the most delicious Hansen Ice cream. (Walk past the blue ice shed right on the harbor).
