Egense Lystbådehavn
Egense harbor is located at the eastern mouth of the Limfjord.
The harbor has a newly built clubhouse. In the clubhouse is a washing machine and dryer, where 5 kroner must be used. There is a cozy patio at the clubhouse where you can grill. The harbor has a super playground where children can really have fun.
About 500 meters from the harbor you will find Egense Camping, where you can order breakfast and buy to a very limited extent. If you want a better selection, there is a Spar supermarket about 1500 meters from the harbor.
Egense Sailing Club has a home port in Egense harbor.
Attractions
The Hals-Egense ferry departs approximately every 10 minutes to Hals, where there are several shopping opportunities, restaurants and cafes.
Lille Vildmose is Denmark's largest protected land area of 7600 hectares. Here you will find, among other things, Northwest Europe's largest high bog, bird-rich lakes and unique natural and grazing forests. There is a Little Wildlife Center where you can watch nature movies in the cinema, fly in the eagle simulator, get close to the plants and animals of the moss in the nature workshop and experience exciting interactive exhibitions about the Wildlife. The center also offers guided tours of the area.
2018: Boats up to 9 meters in length cost 120 kroner a day. Both between 9-12 meters in length cost 145 kroner a day. Both over 12 meters in length cost 170 kroner a day. The port fee includes electricity. Bath spends 5 kroner.
