Details

Glommen harbour is an old fishing village located about 10 km north of Falkenberg and 25 km south of Varberg.

When you pay the harbour fee, you get the code for the building with toilet and shower. There are good shopping facilities about 300 metres from the harbour. Glommens Fiskekrog is about 100 metres from the harbour - in high season Caribbean Bar is also open. If you like fish, the restaurant is worth a visit.

The bus to Falkenberg goes right across the harbour.

Sights

According to an Icelandic saga, the Norwegian king Harald Hårderåde landed at Glommen one night and burned down two buildings by the Ethra river.

Morups Tånge about 1 km from the harbour is a large nature area with a rich bird life.
