Approaches
The port of Guldborg can be used around the clock when the weather is bright and visible. If you come from the north, however, the harbor can only arrive during the opening hours of the Guldborg Bridge. The height of the bridge is 4 meters, however the bridge can be opened when the traffic permits. The bridge must be passed for motor. If you arrive at the harbor from the south, you are dependent on the opening hours of King Frederik IX's bridge. Repair work is being carried out on the bridge, which is therefore closed to ship traffic at. 6-9 and 15-18 from February 22 to September 7, 2011 both days inclusive. The opening of the bridge is limited to once an hour. However, during the summer months, the bridge will be opened twice an hour. Guldborg Sound is not illuminated, but the harbor bridges are illuminated. Please note that the port's southern basin is very low. Many are grounded, the shallow water starts just 20 meters south of the outer bridge. Walk perpendicular to land near the bridge's slopes or use the port's northern basin, which is deeper.

Details

Guldborg Harbor is located on the northeast side of Lolland - right next to the Guldborg Bridge. The harbor is in the narrowest spot between Lolland and Falster, so you have plenty of opportunity to follow life on both sides of Guldborgsund.

The harbor clubhouse is open to all guest sailors, where you will also find the harbor service building with toilet and bath. Petrol and diesel can be purchased in the OK tank at Dagli'Brugsen, located approximately 300 meters from the port. There is free internet in the harbor. Buses depart for Vordingborg and Nykøbing Falster.

Café Lagunen is located in extension with the harbor clubhouse, and the restaurant / café has a fantastic view over Guldborg Sund.

Guldborgland Bådelaug has its home port in Guldborg Harbor.

Attractions

Majbølle Mill is located about 2 kilometers from the harbor. The mill was built in the year 1896. The windmill is a Dutch mill and it is incredibly beautiful. The mill was built as a grain mill and was in operation until 1982.

Guldborg is located next to the Great Forest, where you can find, among other things, remnants of past life. This is also where you can see the hedge plant called the Swedish Barge, which was used during the Swedish war in 1659.
