Details

Hardeshøj is a village with approx. 40 inhabitants and ferry hire in northern Als. Hardeshøj is an old shipping place where for about 300 years there has been a ferry to Ballebro on Sundeved. The ferry M / F Bitten Clausen sails daily every half hour to Ballebro from a relatively new ferry. The former ferry hire is used for leisure purposes. There is a bridge for larger boats and cutters and a smaller dinghy. The Hardeshøj Kro Ferry Inn dates from 1721 and is now used for holiday homes. To the west lies a larger beach engor area that is covered by the Nature Conservation Act.
