Hesnæs Havn
The port of Hesnæs is located on the east coast of Falster, and is the only port on the east coast of Falster. The harbor is a small fishing village and it is a very quiet harbor. The port does not offer the large facilities.
The area is known for its special tubular houses. The houses were built after the storm surge in 1872 and maintained according to a local plan that ensures the special building style and environment in Hesnæs.
Attractions
Hesnæs city is an attraction in itself. The village is characterized by its distinctive old houses, where both the walls and the roof are wrapped in straw. This building style is not seen anywhere else in Denmark.
2017: Both under 8 meters in length cost 90 kroner per day. Both between 8-10 meters in length cost 120 kroner per day. Both between 10-12 meters in length cost 130 kroner per day. Both between 12-14 meters in length cost 140 kroner per day. Both between 14-16 meters in length cost 170 kroner per day. Boats over 16 meters in length are assessed at the docker's discretion.
