Approaches
Hornbæk harbor can be accessed around the clock. There is a trench that leads into the harbor - this one is marked by red and green top sticks. The marking must be strictly respected as there is shallow water in the area. Hornbæk Harbor has a sailing signal that lights up when the sailing depth changes. On a mast on the crosswalk there is a warning light that comes on when the normal depth of entry into the harbor has decreased. The signal consists of 3 red, fixed lights vertically above each other. During the day, a black ball is also hoisted. When the signal is on / raised, port navigation is not advisable. There is a speed limit of 3 knots in the harbor basin.
