Hundested Lystbådehavn
Hundested is a large fishing, ferry and marina. The port currently consists of 3 port sections. The northern and oldest basins which are reserved for yachts and recreational fishermen, the middle basin with a quay reserved for fishing, but also a number of places for pleasure boats and to the south is the traffic harbor, which is a modern freight harbor.
The marina is a nice mix of cozy atmosphere and modern facilities that can meet everyone's requirements. Just north of the harbor you will find a cozy beach. There is also a playground right by the harbor.
There is a train connection to Copenhagen via Hillerød.
Hundested motor and sailing club is located in Hundested harbor.
Attractions
Right by the harbor you will find a design center, where, among other things, the glass smithy is located. Definitely worth a visit.
North of the dog place you will find the polar researcher Knud Rasmussen's house, which is designed as a museum. Knud Rasmussen lived in the house between his sleigh expeditions. The museum is closed on Mondays.
