Kalvø Havn

South of Årøsund you will find Genner Bay, and at the bottom of it is Kalvø Harbor. The harbor is well protected in natural surroundings. Kalvø is found with the mainland with a dam. There are toilets and bathing facilities, a sailing kitchen and a barbecue area at the harbor.

Tables and benches are set up all over the island, where you can sit and enjoy the beautiful nature. Kalvø Badehotel is close to the harbor, and here you will find a delicious restaurant.

Attractions

Kalvø is located in the middle of a large nature reserve with a rich bird life. Especially in the spring and autumn there is the opportunity to see and experience many different kinds of ducks. There is a fine nature trail that leads one through the beautiful countryside.
