Karrebæksminde harbor can be accessed around the clock, however, the Inderhavnen only during the day when the bridge is open. The Karrebæks Memorial Bridge has a passage height of 2.5 meters, so can only be passed by low vessels. Other vessels must wait for the bridge to open. From 1 May to 20 September, the bridge will be opened once an hour or if traffic permits. The bridge guard can be contacted on VHF channel 16 or by telephone 55 44 20 45. Strong current can be experienced in the harbor, which is easily affected by the wind conditions. Therefore, there is a requirement that anchor MUST be kept clear if you wait in co-current! Note that there are cables 100 meters west of the bridge to 300 meters east of the bridge where anchoring is prohibited.
