Approaches
The Port of Mosede can be called around the clock. It is recommended to enter the port from the north or south because of bottom nets in the area around the harbor. The harbor lighthouse leads into a white angle, thus avoiding bottom nets and other fishing tackle. There is a tendency for sanding at the harbor's eastern pier.

Details

The moored harbor is located in Køge Bay by Greve - about 6 miles from Køge.

There are limited opportunities to make purchases near the harbor - there is a however Q8 tank about 200 meters from the harbor. On the other hand, a bus leaves for Køge, where there are many grocery stores and specialty shops.

The old smokehouse is located by the harbor, and is primarily a delicious fish restaurant.

Greve Strand Sailing Club has a home port in Mosede Harbor.

Attractions

Mosede Fort is located south of the harbor and was part of the fortification of Copenhagen. The fort was built in 1914-1916, and was manned during World War I with 300 men. The fort was to prevent landing in Køge Bay. All of the fort's concrete structures are largely preserved and the area is publicly accessible.
