Details

Norreborg Harbor is located on the north coast of the Swedish island of Venn. The harbor is not that big, and it is also Ven's smallest harbor. In high season it can be difficult to find a place.

There are the most basic facilities in the harbor, but if you want a larger selection of shopping opportunities, you must go to Tuna, which is the island's capital.

Attractions

There is a fine sandy beach right by the harbor.

Tycho Brahe's castle and observatory, which is called Uranienborg, is located on Venn. Uranienborg was built around the year 1580. The castle has a geometric garden designed by Tycho Brahe. The inner garden had flowers and many herbs for use in medical research and in the household. The outer garden was possessed by fruit trees. Attempts have been made to reconstruct the castle garden according to Tycho Brahe's drawings and descriptions.

It is recommended to cycle around Venn.
