Approaches
Smygehamn can be called at around the clock. Røde Fyrbåker leads into course 003 °. The harbor entrance is marked with red and green candlesticks. Carefully respect the marking, as there is shallow water and stones on both sides of it. It is not advisable to call at the harbor if the boat protrudes more than 2.0 meters, as sanding occurs in the harbor. There is a speed limit of 3 knots in the harbor basin. Mooring long-term at guest bridge or at barriers in green-marked spaces.

Details
Smygehamn is located 13 kilometers east of Trelleborg. The harbor is a small fishing and marina.
There is a bus to Trelleborg. There is a kiosk and the fish smokehouse Smygehamns Fiskrökeri right by the harbor. The fish smokehouse in particular is popular, as there is an attached café where you can enjoy both the food and the view over the harbor.
Attractions
In the old days, a limestone quarry was located right by the harbor. Older preserved lime kilns can still be seen in the area by the harbor.
