Approaches
Uggelhuse Harbor can be called at around the clock, as long as the weather is bright and visible. The depth in the entrance to the harbor is 2.0 meters and in the harbor basin 2.0 meters decreasing to 1.7 meters in the inner part. At the bridgehead of the guest bridge 3.0 meters and within this 1.5 meters. The difference between mean high tide and mean low tide is 0.5-0.8 meters. NW-like wind can give up to 1.5 m high tide and E-like wind gives low tide. There is a speed limit of 3 knots in the harbor basin.

Uggelhuse harbor is located in Randers Fjord. The harbor is a small private marina.

The harbor has a clubhouse and barbecue area that can be used by guest sailors. The port's bicycles can be borrowed for free, so you can get around the area.

Uggelhuse Sailing Club has its home port in Uggelhuse Harbor.

Attractions

About 5 kilometers from the harbor at Ammelhede you will find Hamlet's grave. It is an 18 meter high burial mound from the Bronze Age.

Take a ride on the disused railway between Randers and Allingåbro. Here you can ride rail bikes. There are several rest areas along the route, so you can stop and enjoy nature or bring food. It costs 70 kroner per hour to rent a rail bike, you can also rent a bike for a whole day, then it costs 200 kroner. More infomation can be found here .
