Hobro marina can be operated around the clock in bright and visible weather. The harbor is lighted and the lights on land make it easy to see the harbor from the water. There is a speed limit of 3 knots in the harbor basin.

Details

Hobro Marina is idyllically located at the bottom of Mariager Fjord, close to Hobro town. It is about 1 kilometer to Hobro center from the harbor.

The clubhouse is free for guest sailors. On the first floor there is a living room, kitchen and toilets. A beer and water vending machine is also available. The downstairs has toilets and bathrooms with hot water.

Wi-FI Internet connection does not work everywhere in the port. Hobro Sailing Club is located in Hobro Marina.

Attractions

Fyrkat is a Viking castle located about 3 kilometers from Hobro. The castle was excavated in 1950, and laterality has been reconstructed so that the castle today appears as in the Viking Age.

The pine cat has an internal diameter of 120 m and contains 16 long houses, 4 in each part of the castle. Harald Blue tooth is believed to be behind the construction of Fyrkat.
