Skovbroen Thurø
Skovbroen is a small jetty at the bottom of Thurøbund. The place is nothing less than a natural gem with peace, tranquility and beech forest as major assets. The jetty has virtually no facilities, but you can get rid of rubbish and there is a barbecue area.
Grasten Bådelaug has its home port in Skovbroen.

Thurø Church dates from 1639. The church was built by Elle Marsvin, who got the rights to Thurø and the neighboring island Tåsinge by Christian the 4th in the year 1620. The church is located on one of Thurø's highest points. The church has two beautiful nave - Ruth from 1960 and Phillip from 1903.
One of the good experiences of late summer can be enjoyed in this place - namely morrild, which can best be seen when it is really dark without the addition of artificial light. For bird enthusiasts, you can also be lucky to experience the sight of the otherwise shy kingfisher. Many children have over time enjoyed lying on the stone pier with crab line and bucket for the catch as well as making a small campfire by the barbecue area. The slope down to the water where the forest vegetation is mostly covered by beech is protected, which must be understood as meaning that no trees may be felled and no planting can be done. Thurø Skove, which rents out the stone pier to Bådelauget, is owned by landowners, but no forest area is matriculated for the individual forest party owner. Hope you yourself now feel like visiting our bridge for next season. Sailors who can enjoy this kind of simple ports should be welcome in 2013 or another time.
All boats regardless of size cost 50 kroner per day. If you add in the daytime, it costs 25 kroner.
