Tambohus harbor is a natural harbor located between Thyholm and Jegindø in the Limfjord. The port has only the most basic facilities.
It is possible to eat at Tambohus Kro , which is a famous royal-privileged inn with a cozy environment.
Tambostenen is the harbor's landmark. It symbolizes the great work that has been done to recreate the port of Tambohus. The decoration of Tambostenen was done by a local artist named Steen Andersen. The motif is jumping hornfish.
The area around the harbor invites for cycling and walking.
All boats regardless of size cost 100 kroner per day. If you do not stay overnight and the call is less than 6 hours, it costs 50 kroner. Electricity costs 20 kroner per day. Note that there are 2 clubs in Tambohus. Tambohus Boat Club has the northern bridge, it is a free port, but here it is not very deep and it has no facilities. Tambohus Bylaug has the other bridges. It is not a free port, but has a toilet, shower, etc.
